The Southwest Corridor Research Collaborative’s research on the Southwest Corridor will be featured in the forthcoming exhibition Seeing the City at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Per the curators’ statement, the exhibition is an introduction to factors “that shape cities in the US, and to the ways in which cities in turn shape us…uncover[ing] the hidden forces that build and sustain cities, from zoning laws to public policies, from social movements to economic trends, from music to industrial innovations, and shows how these influence every aspect of our lives.” It is slated to open in Spring 2027.
